About Midlife Muscle Fitness
Welcome! I started Midlife Muscle Fitness to share simple, practical training regiments for adults over 40, hands-on motorcycle know-how, and clear-headed socio-political commentary—no hype.
Who I Am
My name is Rich Hummel, and welcome to your not so typical web site, I originally started this web site to build a community of people over the age of 40, to get up, get out and get moving. I live in Bandera, Texas, Cowboy Capital of the World, population 956.
I am not a gym rat, ok, I’m not your TYPICAL gym rat (someone who lives at the gym). And you don’t have to be a gym rat to build a body YOU can be proud of. This site is really about YOU. You set goals that are achievable annd reasonable for your busy life. All I am here to do is to inspire you to set those goals and work every day to achieve them.
My philosophy is simple: God is first, my family is second and I am third. I use this philosophy to guide my actions every day, It really simplifies life when you boiol it down to those three areas.
Now the normal stuff. Who am I? I was born in a small town called Cranford, New Jersey on Cinco de Mayo 1960. I joined the United States Air Force at age 22, after my failed attempt at a college education. I studied advanced radar systems which ignited a passion in me to understand how things work. I have degrees in Electrical Engineering, Technology Management, and post graduate work in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. I love to ride my Harley, fix up my little cabin in the woods, and hang out with my three dogs.
That’s enough about me. I sincerely thank you for visiting my page and welcome to the Midlife Fitness world!!
